First Table Read
We had our first table read with the actors, which went really well. Jason Robbins had to Skype in as he is in Biloxi, but even over the computer monitor, he blew everyone away with his take on the character of Vilkur.
Fight choreography is in progress and rehearsals have begun, so our actors will be well-rehearsed by the time the camera rolls. Costumes and props are also in the works, and our director is valiantly working on the script breakdown and shot list. We continue to add more people to our production team. Pre-production is coming along as planned with shooting scheduled for June 3 and 4.
70% of Goal
We’re up to 70% of our goal with $3,495 raised in less than 5 days. Everyone connected to this film is thrilled by the positive response this campaign has had. We give our sincerest thanks to all of our supporters.
Thank You!
Thank you to everyone who has contributed. We reached 57% of our goal in just two days, which is practically unheard of! And it’s because of your support. The cast and crew of “Sur’vi” are hard at work in the pre-production phase with costume, makeup, and prop design and rehearsals. We hope that the final film will be something that we all can be proud of. We couldn’t make this happen without you.
